Time to order your REGAP Special Event License Plates again!! REGAP of Illinois is again offering these plates for the Annual REGAP Picnic. These temporary license plates are valid between the end of July and September 23rd (the day of the picnic). If you are interested, use the form below and follow the included instructions. All orders are due no later than June 5th, 2017. Our organization’s name and information is on the plate. What a great way to promote REGAP while you cruise around to Meet N Greets, parades, and festivals this summer!!! If you ordered at the picnic, I need your registration (if it expires between now and September 1st, 2017, renew it first and than send it to me). I will also be mailing applications to anyone who ordered in the past or are new adopters in the last three years.
FAQ:
Who is eligible? Anyone, not just those involved in REGAP so spread the word to family and friends.. The vehicle has to be registered in Illinois. These plates are available for passenger vehicles and Class B trucks.
What is the cost? The cost is $25 per set.
Can we get them for motorcycles? Yes, but we would have to design a motorcycle plate and guarantee a minimum of 50 sets of motorcycle plates. Unfortunately, we will not be taking orders for motorcycle plates.
Why don’t we have permanent Specialty Plates for REGAP? We need to guarantee a minimum of 1,000 sets of plates to be eligible for Specialty Plates.
