Greys Silver Ice

It is with a broken heart I write to tell you of my sad news. Today I had to put my darling girl Ice to sleep. She had cancer and it spread to her spine. She lost control of her hind legs. She lost the sight in left eye completely. She could no longer walk.
Dr.Wahl, Avenue Animal Hospital, Tinley Park, quite possibly the kindest, sweetest, most gentle man I’ve ever known, checked her over and when I saw the look on his face, I knew the moment I’ve been dreading would be happening shortly.
Dr. Wahl wears his heart upon his sleeve just like the rest of animal lovers. Perhaps if she were younger, he may have suggested surgery, but given her age and condition, the decision was left in my hands.
